History Students Visit London

Year 12 and 13 students traveled to two of London's most historic institutions this week as their studies came to life.

The party began their excursion with a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament, where the students got to walk through the very corridors once populated by political powerhouses such as Gladstone, Disraeli, Pitt & Peel as well as rubbing shoulders with today's policy makers.

Following lunch, the students headed to the Imperial War Museum, where they were able to view the military artifacts from many of the historical conflicts that they have studied.

The excursion was an invaluable day out for the students as they continue their A level studies as well as an enriching super curricular activity for all those students planning to study history, literature, politics or economics at university.
