Rosie applied to study veterinary science at Nottingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Bristol universities having achieved A grades in her AS examinations. Despite her excellent academic record, she was shocked when she received rejections from all four of the universities she applied to. Disappointed but undeterred, she took a year out and reapplied. She is now studying veterinary science at Bristol University.
Patrick achieved A*A*A*A in his four A levels and as far back as Year 9 he had set his sights on applying to one of the Oxbridge colleges. All students applying to Oxford & Cambridge have excellent academic results, so Patrick needed an impressive array of super curricular accomplishments and had to survive a stringent interview process to secure his offer to read law at Churchill College, Cambridge.
Olivia is in her third year of a Child Nursing degree having achieved AAB in Sociology, Psychology and English Language at Sixth Form. Despite achieving excellent academic results, the biggest challenge for Olivia was securing a position on a course that had fewer than 30 available spaces. Ultimately, it was her performance at interview that secured her an offer.
Charlotte studied A levels in Economics, French and Spanish and was offered a place at the University of Oxford, but decided that she wanted to embark on a gap year before taking up her place. So far, she has had quite the adventure!
